Perry Sheraw’s career track is anything but typical: Investigative Journalist/Private Investigator/Dive Instructor/Boat Captain/Investment Banking Executive/Marketing Entrepreneur. Her passion for challenge and warm weather led to a career tapestry that pays off every day in serving her clients.
A decade in print journalism taught Perry key elements to universally appealing content, graphic design and page layout. As private investigator, she continued to hone her investigative and analytical skills using numerous online tools. Teaching diving and driving dive boats in the Caribbean – well, that was just a lot of fun – but it also yielded a better understanding of communicating across many cultures and perspectives while keeping people safe at up to 130 feet under water. And then, Perry’s decade as an investment banking executive instill a yearning for solid return on investment and a solid understanding of making creativity work in a business environment instilled a discipline for seeking a measurable return on investment.
When she decided to start her own business, Perry knew that every role she has held in her career steered her toward becoming an entrepreneur. Her talents, principles and a sincere desire to help business owners achieve greater success through advanced marketing techniques called her to create Sugarmill Media with Sara Zuckerman. Perry has a relentless drive to put the needs of Sugarmill Media’s clients first.
Perry grew up in Kentucky, studied literature at University of Kentucky and now lives with her family in the U.S. Virgin Islands. During business hours, Perry handles strategic marketing campaign development, website design/development and content production. She is an avid boater, diver, snorkeler, reader and hiker. And, she is happiest doing those things with her husband and two kids.
Who is Jen Andrews?
Jen spent much of her career in marketing in the publishing industry writing catalog copy, developing ads, planning for trade shows, working with authors, and managing mailings.
Since she relocated to St Croix eight years ago she has focused her attention on her family by putting her skills to use through volunteering for the organizations that they are involved in such as being the moderator for the Tamarind Moms group, leading story time for the community, being a board member for the Dolphins Swim Team, and volunteering in numerous ways at their school including assisting with event planning, fundraising, and outreach.
